Richard Dale Feitshans

Richard Dale Feitshans, age 89 passed away on November 9, 2020. He was a very proud husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and a United States Army veteran serving in the 82nd Airborne. he was born on January 16, 1931 in West Milton, OH to Leonidas and Genevieve Feitshans. Richard is survived by his wife Mary Lou (Lowman) Feitshans; 3 children, Chuck (Elka) Feitshans of Porter, IN, Zane (Kris) Feitshans of Burns Harbor, IN and Dawn (Jack) Virden of Chesterton, IN; grandchildren, Tim (Linda) Feitshans, Lyndi Feitshans, Jessica (Mike) Larson, Bo Feitshans, Cole (Melissa) Feitshans, Ben (Kailin) Virden, Haley (Brian) Virden, Kelsey (Logan) Clark; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Aidan, Hanna, Alex, Carter, Allison, Jackson, and Zoey; sisters, Lois Cummins and Roberta Harvey. Richard retired from M.H. Dietrich where he worked for 30 years. He also worked at Sand Creek for 15 years. Richard was a great fan of all sports, especially football. He graduated from West Milton High School Class of 1949 and Manchester College Class of 1957. Richard was a lifetime member of the Lions Club where he had won many awards.
