Nathan Lee Perry, age 41 of Portage, IN passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. He was born on April 3, 1980 in Hobart, IN to Randy and Julie (Dickel) Perry. Nathan is survived by his mother, Julie (Dean) McBrayer of Portage; five sisters, Krista Perry, Kimberly Perry, Alyson Pukoszek, Teasa Johnson, Haley Wedell; three brothers, Matthew Perry, Connor Perry, Colton Perry; grandfather, Herbert Dickel; two grandmothers, Martha Dickel, Edie Perry; eight nieces, Brantley Sanchez, Emerson Sanchez, Grace Pukoszek, Amelia Pukoszek, Rosie Hammond, Eleanor Wedell, Reese Wedell, Evelyn Johnson; three nephews, Beau Hammond, Leo Perry, Grant Johnson; best friend, Jose; and many aunts and uncles and other friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Randy Perry; grandfather, Charles Perry; great grandma and grandpa Henning, and great grandma and grandpa Dickel; and nephew, Trace Hammond. Nathan loved to make people laugh. He also loved to travel and enjoyed a round of poker or euchre. Nathan was a lifelong Browns fan like his dad, a Bears fan, and recently became a White Sox fan after he gave up on the Cubs. He loved to fish and was looking forward to going to heaven to get a new body, to be able to walk again, and to fish with his dad. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Avenue, Portage, IN 46368. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2022 from 12:00 pm until the time of services at 3:00 pm at the funeral home.
