Michele Anne Allton

March 22, 1944 - January 28, 2022

Michele Anne (Fox) Allton, age 77 of Columbus, Ohio went home to the Lord on Friday, January 28, 2022 in Valparaiso, IN. She was born on March 22, 1944 in Pasadena, CA to Michael and Florence (Clements) Fox. Michele is survived by her sons, Sean (Cari) Allton, Paul (Chris) Allton; grandsons, Sean, Tanner, Noah, Jonah; granddaughter, Michelina; Great-grandson, Kyzen; sisters, Kathy (Joe) Moreno, Becky (Mike) Wrigley; brothers, Mike (Debbie) Fox, Chris (Donna) Fox, Jeff (Cheryl) Fox. She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Fox; mother, Florence Fox; brother, John "Butch" Fox; sister, Margaret (Fox) Nowland; granddaughter, Jessica Allton. Growing up with Joan Park as her back yard, Michele accelerated in sports. Basketball, softball, and track were her passion. Michele was invited to the Olympic trials to participate in the 200 meters. An amazing experience for her and her father but seldom did you ever hear Michele talk about her achievements on the track. A true witness of humility was her approach to life. Michele was the most selfless person. She valued everyone else’s time more than her own. Family was everything to her. She loved her grandchildren and great grandson with an unwavering love. If you knew her you were loved by her. She was friend to everyone and had a heart as big as the moon. She always had a smile on her face no matter how rough things might have been. She always told her two sons and grandchildren you never know if you will succeed if you don’t try. And it’s better to try and fail then to never try at all. To never give up and keep fighting. Michele worked for Fed-Ex and retired after working there for 25 years. She loved her Saturdays during football season—Michele never missed a Buckeye game. She will be deeply missed and her love for life and smile will never be forgotten. Please join the family for visitations Friday, February 25th from 7:00-8:00 PM with the Rosary starting at 8:00 PM. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 AM on February 26th, 2022. Both the visitation and Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Rd. Columbus, Ohio 43224
