Michael P. Wilson

Michael "Mike" P. Wilson, age 66 of Chesterton, IN passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 28, 1954 in Gary, IN to Charles R. Wilson and Barbara (Callahan) Hathaway. Mike is survived by his wife, Nancy (Lindahl) Wilson; daughter, Lindsey (Leigh) Hahn; grandchildren, Lauryn, Lacey, and Luca Hahn; brothers, Robert (Cathy) Wilson, Joseph (Kris) Wilson, and John (Janet) Wilson; brother-in-law, Allen (Chris) Lindahl. Mike was a lifelong Chesterton resident and was a graduate of Chesterton High School Class of 1972. He was married to his "Angel" Nancy for over 44 years. Mike enjoyed golfing, bowling, and playing pool. He was a devoted Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. He also loved to travel. One of his greatest memories was the time he spent volunteering at the Big Cat Rescue in Oklahoma. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandchildren: Lauryn, Lacey, and Luca. Mike was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother who will be deeply missed. Funeral Services will be private. Edmonds & Evans entrusted with arrangement.
