Jennifer Lynne Veenstra

Jennifer Lynne (Trella) Veenstra, age 52, of Dublin, OH formerly of Chesterton, IN passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. She was born on May 13, 1969 in Chesterton, IN to Joseph and Rose Ann (Devlin) Trella. Jennifer is survived by her husband, George Veenstra Jr. of Dublin, OH; children, George Veenstra III and Gianna Veenstra; mother, Rose Ann Trella of Chesterton, IN; sisters, Rebecca (Kenneth) Price, Julie (Jonathan) Wycoff; brothers, Andrew Trella, Timothy Trella and Joseph (Pippa Miskus) Trella; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph T. Trella; brother, James P. Trella; father-in-law, George G. Veenstra, Sr. and brother-in-law, Kenny Veenstra. Jennifer graduated from Chesterton High School. She worked for Worthington Industries for 29 years. One of her favorite places to be was at the beach and in the sun. She loved being a mom and enjoyed being involved with all George and Gianna's extra curricular activities. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 638 N. Calumet Avenue , Chesterton, IN 46304. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 18 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway in Chesterton. Memorial donations in Jenni's name may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church.
