James P. Wilson

James P. Wilson, age 57, of Valparaiso, IN passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 28, 2022. He was born on January 8, 1965 in Valparaiso, IN, son of Larry Dibkey and Judith (Miller) Dibkey. James is survived by his loving wife, Jessica Wilson; beloved children, sons, Jamie Wilson and Adam Wilson and daughters, Mariah Wilson and Brooke Wilson; grandsons, Khalil and Adonis Branch; brothers, Jeff (JoAnne) Wilson, Jerry (Dawn) Wilson, Joe (Kelley) Wilson and John (Jill) Wilson; sisters, Kim (Karl) Ensign and Kelly Ridge; and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Katherine Wilson and brother-in-law, Donald Ridge. James graduated from Valparaiso High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He loved hunting, playing golf and he was very active in the 4-H dairy project where he served as a committee member. James could have a rough exterior but he had a very kind and caring soul. He would do anything for anyone. He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, 517 Broadway, Chesterton, IN 46304 with Pastor Jason Kegebein officiating.
