Genevieve (Gennie) Frances Mollick

December 18, 1937 - January 28, 2021

Genevieve (Gennie) Frances Mollick, 83, of Merrillville, IN went to join her heavenly father on Thursday, January 28, 2021. Gennie was born on December 18, 1937 in Gary, IN to Michael and Virginia Mollick. She is survived by her siblings Michael (Edith) Mollick, Joseph (Lois) Mollick, Paul (Sue) Mollick, and Carol Kwaitkowski; her sons Adonis Richard Martin, and Dominic Scott (Laura) Martin; God-daughter Shelly Kwaitkowski, grandson Joshua Martin, great granddaughter Elizabeth Martin and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her siblings Bill (Cora) Mollick, Julia (Laurel) Mollick Wright, and Marion (James) Mollick O’Neill. Gennie enjoyed a life-long close relationship with her large and loving family. She attended Gary-Edison Senior High School, and retired from Gary White Sales, after a 37 year career in company administration. She was a long term, proud and active member of the Women’s American Legion Auxiliary and a member of Lady of Consolation, Merrillville. Gennie liked domestic travel, enjoyed cruise vacations but by far her most treasured past time was to listen to music, dance, laugh and tell stories with her family and loved ones. Visitation will be at 9:30 am until 10:30 am, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368, with Memorial Service to follow at 10:30 am. Interment will be at McCool Cemetery, 2700 McCool Rd, Portage, IN immediately following the Service. Funeral arrangements by Edmonds & Evans Portage Chapel 6941 Central Ave, Portage IN.
