Florence (Hatcher) Autrey, age 88 of Chesterton, IN passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021 peacefully at home in Chesterton, IN. She was born on July 15, 1932 in Sevierville, TN to William and Bertha (Everheart) Hatcher. Florence is survived by her sons, Larry (Pamela) Autrey, Phillip (Pamela) Autrey; sisters, Lorraine Lahaie, Thelma Keith; grandaughters, Amanda (Agusta), Robin (Thom), Holly (Jason); grandsons, Nathan (Krystal), Mac (Vanessa), Kyle (Taylor); great-grandsons, Ethan, Blake, Kylor, Alex, Hunter, Ryker; great-granddaughters, Victoria, Jessica, Ashlyn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Autrey; father, William Robert Hatcher; son, Bobby Autrey; mother, Bertha Hatcher. Florence loved her grandchildren and her cats. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Chesterton. Florence enjoyed going to the beach and hiking the Dunes. She loved nature and butterflies. Florence will be truly missed by all that knew her. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Chesterton Cemetery, 300 E. Porter Avenue, Chesterton, IN 46304 with, Pastor Larry Starett officiating.
