Billie K. Johnson-Miletich Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Billie K. (Tittle) Johnson-Miletich, age 88 of Portage, IN passed away on Monday, November 29, 2021 in Portage, IN. She was born on September 29, 1933 in Townley, AL to Sim and Miriam (Chaffen) Tittle. Billie is survived by her children, Jeanette (David Alvarado) Allen-Vuko, Johnny (Cathy Connaway) Johnson, Ron (Tina) Johnson and Deborah (Bill Kearby) Allen; brothers, Donald Tittle and Michael Tittle and sister, Jackie Barnes; grandchildren, Stacey (Danny Schultz) Eldridge, Ryan (Irene) Johnson, Kristen (Dave) Wring, Ashley (Chris) Cole, Nathan Johnson, Amy Mamounas, Randy (Carrie) Allen and Kim Yaros; great-grandchildren, Mia, Kailee, Ayden, Alyssa, Anthony, Ava, Allen, Pete, Morgan, Alex, Heimdall and August. Billie was the former President of the Portage Little League Woman's Auxillary, Town Hall Clerk for Portage Township and then served as interim Clerk-Treasurer of Portage, Precinct Committee Woman of the Republican Party. She was also appointed by the Governor of Indiana to manage the Portage License Branch, co-owner of FM Transport and retired after 20 years as Portage Police Commissioner. Billie enjoyed shopping with the grandchildren, enjoyed going to the casino and loved to dance. She especially loved helping people in need. Billie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be deeply missed. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, Portage Chapel, 6941 Central Ave., Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Bill Marshall officiating. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 2, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
