Beverly Irene Crawford

November 26, 1932 - June 6, 2022

Beverly Irene Crawford, 89, peacefully passed beyond the veil June 6, 2022. She was born in Joliet, Illinois on November 26, 1932 to James and Goldie Sullivan, who predeceased her, along with siblings Leonard and Donald Sullivan and her son David Sam, first husband Daniel Sam, and former husband Robert Crawford. Beverly is survived by her sister, Lois Sullivan, sister-in-law Lynette Sullivan, three children: Debra (George Mitchell) of Powell, Ohio, Kandi (Robert Kindmark), of Chesterton, Indiana, and Daniel L. Sam, of Draper, Utah; three step-children: Barbara Crawford of Chicago, Illinois, Sherroll (Lester Raborn) of Lake Dallas, Texas, and James Crawford of Chesterton, IN; thirteen grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. A long-time resident of Portage and Chesterton, Beverly worked for many years at the Portage License Bureau and Ribordy Drugs (now Walgreens) in Portage. She loved her family and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Order of the Eastern Star. Following private arrangements handled by Edmond and Evans Funeral Home in Chesterton, she will be laid to rest in Chesterton Cemetery.
